Seeking Support

Choosing a therapist is an incredibly personal decision that involves connection, empathy, and trust. In order to support you in overcoming obstacles in life and promoting personal development,  provide a unique combination of compassion, experience, and evidence-based techniques to help with various mental and emotional issues. My therapeutic approach is based on a strong sense of sensitivity and understanding, and I work hard to provide a secure, accepting environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of being judged or rejected.

In therapy, I think the full person—mind, body, and spirit—should be taken into consideration.  I take into account how several facets of your life interact and impact one another, even if we might concentrate on certain problems or difficulties. By adopting an integrated approach, we may identify underlying patterns, examine significant connections, and encourage long-lasting growth and development.

My commitment is to deliver a culturally appropriate treatment that respects and acknowledges your identity, history, and values.  I work to provide a therapy setting that is inclusive and accepting of diversity in all its forms because I understand how important cultural elements are in forming our experiences and perspectives.

Integrative Practice

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT, a modality developed by Beck, examines how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are all linked; knowing the difference between our thoughts and feelings and how these effect how we act is critical to managing our mental health. As humans, it is easy to become trapped in a negative cycle, therefore, in therapy, we look at challenging unhelpful beliefs and exploring coping skills in order to empower clients' to reclaim control over their lives

Attachment Theory

Bowlby's Attachment Theory allows us to explore how our experiences with primary givers in childhood  influences how we build and maintain relationships in our adult life.  This thoroughly researched theory not only helps to clarify how unhelpful strategies for coping develop, but it also emphasises the need of developing a secure attachment within ourselves, aiming to increase our self-esteem and self-worth.

Person Centred Approach

Humans naturally desire to achieve their full potential, but Rogers' Person-Centred Approach recognises that this potential may be obstructed or distorted by certain life experiences, particularly those that change our sense of self-worth.

By recognising each client's individuality and innate strength,  Molly uses compassion, empathy, and congruence to create a safe space for clients to discover how to become their best version of themselves.
